Students from ISDE visit Lausanne, cradle of international sports law

A group of international students of the Master’s in International Sports Law from ISDE has traveled to Switzerland for a week to participate in the intensive training program “Sports Law in Motion”, which was held mainly in Lausanne, cradle of international sports law, This is where some of the main international institutions in this field are located, such as IOC, TAS-CAS or Maison du Sport International.

The students also had the opportunity to visit the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, as well as to learn first-hand about the prestigious international law firm Bär & Karrer, specialized in sports law.

ISDE students benefited from the experience in order to learn directly from the best professionals in the field of Sports Law, who thoroughly explained the internal organization, the legal framework and the general structure of these institutions. They were also able to meet and exchange opinions with experienced experts in this international area.

The teachers were very satisfied with the high level of participation and performance of the students during the visits, showing these professionals their true interest in becoming successful sports lawyers once they complete this elite program.

During the trip, legal professionals from the TAS-CAS Court explained in depth the structure and daily functioning of this sports institution. Among other facilities, students also visited the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
