Lorenzo Dávila joins ISDE as Academic Director of the Economics and Finance Division

The prestigious economist and lawyer Lorenzo Dávila has joined ISDE as Academic Director of the Economics and Finance Division.

With this new addition to the team, ISDE has made a further commitment to reinforce and expand its economics and finance division, and to strengthen its presence in South America where Lorenzo has a well-deserved reputation in the business and academic sectors and extensive contacts.

With a degree in Economics and Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Lorenzo also graduated with a Masters Degree from Carlos III University in Madrid and the UCM. He has worked as a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, the Complutense University of Madrid and the UNED, and held the post of Director of the Research Department at IEB in Madrid.

Lorenzo has 20 years’ experience in financial and strategic consulting and was the founding partner of Emecero Corporate Consulting; he also has experience in the valuation of companies, M&A, project structuring and financial modelling.

ISDE’s new Economics and Finance Director is a regular contributor to the media and actively collaborates with various newspapers such as La Vanguardia, La Razón, El Mundo and Expansión, where he has a fortnightly column.
