Ramón M. Mullerat O.B.E., Adjunct Professor. Prof. Mullerat is a lawyer with KPMG Abogados in Barcelona. He is an Avocat à la Cour de Paris, France; Honorary Member of the Bar of England and Wales; Honorary Member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
He is former Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Barcelona University; Adjunct Professor of The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, former member of the Eruopean Board of the Emory University (Atlanta) and Director of the International Master in Law in ISDE.
Former President of the Council of the Bars and Law Societies of the European Union (CCBE); Member of the American Law Institute (ALI); Member of the American Bar Foundation (ABF); Chairman of Commission 2020 of the International Bar Association (IBA); former Co-Chairman of the Human Rights Institute (HRI) of the IBA; Member of the Board of London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA); former Chairman of the Editorial Board of the European Lawyer; Member of the Board of the Institute of Northamerican Studies; President of the Association for the Promotion of the Arbitration.
He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Central University of Barcelona.
He has written books and articles and lectured extensively and internationally on company law, legal ethics, arbitration and corporate social responsibility. His most recent book is “Corporate Social Responsibility: The Role of Corporations in the Economic Order of the 21st Century” (Kluwer, 2010).
Prof. Mullerat will teach Globalization of the Legal Profession.
Josep M. Balcells, Adjunct Professor of European Union Law. Prof. Balcells is a Partner with Baker & McKenzie in Barcelona. Law Degree by the University of Barcelona 1981-1986. Licence Spécial en Droit Communautaire. Brussels, ULB 1989-90.
Former Treasurer and Member of the Managing Board of the Bar Association of Barcelona from June 2007 to June 2009. He has been a practicing member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 1986. Former President of the EU and International Law Section of the Barcelona Bar association, 2002-2007
Member of the Buenos Aires (Argentina) Bar Association and practicing lawyer in Baker & McKenzie Buenos Aires from 1998 to 2000.
As lawyer, he provides legal advice relating to commercial contracting issues, corporate transactions and competition issues on a regular basis.
He published several boks, hmong which: "La Gestión Empresarial en el Mercado Único de 1993" (“Business Management in the 1993 Single Market)” and “Derecho y Política de la Competencia. Análisis Comparado” (“Competition Law and Policy. A compared analysis”), with other authors.
He is currently lecturer in law at the Barcelona Bar Association, Barcelona Autonomous University and ISDE. He continues to publish numerous articles regarding EU commercial law issues and regulatory matters.

Mr. López will teach International and Comparative Sports Law.
John Q. Barrett, Professor of Law at St. John’s University, Director ad interim of the Barcelona summer Program 2010. Prof. Barret teaches constitutional law, criminal procedure and legal history, and he is the Elizabeth S. Lenna Fellow at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown, New York. He has in the past been named a "Professor of the Year" by St. John's law students and this year received a Faculty Outstanding Achievement Medal from the University. Professor Barrett is a graduate of Georgetown University (1983) and Harvard Law School (1986).

Elayne E. Greenberg, Adjunct Professor. Prof. Greenberg is the first Director of the Hugh L. Carey Center for Dispute Resolution at St. John's in 2009. She offers an unmatched breadth and depth of experience in dispute resolution. She is a mediator and conflict management consultant who has developed programs, educated, trained, written and lectured nationally on the subject of negotiations, mediation, hybrid dispute resolution processes, dispute resolution ethics and advocacy in dispute resolution.
Professor Greenberg's deep involvement in the field is evidenced by the innovative dispute resolution programs that she has developed and implemented including: court-connected mediation programs in Queens and Nassau Counties; a mediation program for Catholic Charities in Nassau County; a client-focused system for a network of shelters for the homeless in New York designed to help transition those individuals living in shelters to independent living; and a parenting coordination program in Nassau County. As a mediator, Professor Greenberg has mediated cases for the Department of Justice, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York Unified Court System. Professor Greenberg has also mediated cases with disputes involving the following industries: real estate; entertainment; health care; social service; education and retail.
Professor Greenberg has also influenced public policy, shaping the development of Alternative Dispute Resolution in a variety of positions, including:

Prior to coming to St. John's, Professor Greenberg taught at Hofstra Law School and Hofstra’s Graduate Program in Psychology; Yeshiva University Reits Fellow Program; and CUNY School of Law.
Professor Greenberg was selected by Best Lawyers in America as among the top New York lawyers in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Prof. Greenberg will teach Resolving International Disputes.
