My name is Lorenzo Guerrero Becerra. I am from Spain, Málaga. I took part on the 3rd edition of the Master in International Sports Law at ISDE. At the moment I am taking my internship in São Paulo (Brazil). The experience both in the professional and personal point of view is being great.

To begin with, working at Paulo Roberto Murray Advogados is providing me a broad and wonderful vision about Sports Law. I never worked with Sports Law before and only had a little experience with other law fields. One of the reasons why I decided to take the Master in International Sports Law from ISDE was because they guaranteed me two very important things: first, to be taught by the best and top professional lawyers in this field (Sports Law) and second because of the importance that ISDE gives to the practical phase making sure that all the students have the opportunity to work and get involved in prestigious law firms or sport institutions.

In my case, Paulo Roberto Murray Advogados being one of the most important law firms in Brazil and dealing with lots of sports-related cases is giving me a proper knowledge about Sports Law besides the opportunity to develop my skills as a lawyer.
I had at PRM Advogados from the very first time a very warm welcoming from all its members. The daily work goes from drafting a claim before FIFA about a dispute between a player and his agent to meeting clients, drafting contracts or studying Brazilian national law. I really consider the work very dynamic and I can say with no doubt that is giving me a good overview about different areas of Sports Law.

Apart from the professional experience, living in Brazil is as you can imagine a great experience by itself. São Paulo is a huge city which offers you anything you can imagine. It is known as the city that never sleeps because you can do whatever you feel like at any time. Learning a new language, experiencing a new culture and meeting different people among other things are also very important values to me.
Thus I could not be happier being here.

Just to mention only a few activities that I have already performed I would stress the football match I played against former top Brazilians players such as Juninho Paulista or Roque Junior among others or the football games I already attended to where I had the incredible chance to meet Ronaldo (O Fenomeno). As you can see I am combining my passion for Sports Law and football pretty well.

The good thing is that I still have a few months ahead to enjoy and take advantage of all the great experiences I am living.
