Patrick K. Thornton, Director of the LL.M. in American Sports Law run by ISDE in New York and professor of the Master in International Sports Law run by ISDE in Madrid, died last Sunday morning after a three-month long courageous battle against aggressive cancer.

ISDE's 2011 Full-Time and Executive students were graduated recently on a solemn event that took place at the 'Palacete de los Duques de Pastrana' in Madrid.
The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Jorge Pinto Sala, President of ISDE, along with Mr. Juan Jose Sanchez Puig, Director of ISDE, Mr. Gianpaolo Monteneri, Director of the LL.M. in International Sports Law and Ms. Patricia Vidal, Director of the Master en Abogacia Internacional.
Jorge Pinto Sala, opened the event congratulating the students and remarking the importance of the proper Practice of Law.
